Amazing experience at this spa haven! We got the comfort package which included a towel, silica mud mask & a drink (can also get a smoothie) we loved our time here. We stayed for 4 hours & grabbed lunch at the cafe afterwards. The entire set up (entry, showers, exit) is very well organised and efficient. The sauna & steam bath are a great addition to the pool. Everyone is relaxing and slowly moving around the place. It’s so unique. The staff tell you to put plenty of their conditioner in your hair before entering the pool as the water can dry it out. These are available in the shower anyway. I really loved my time here, and would definitely recommend !!

After visiting the Blue Lagoon, Sky Lagoon, and Secret Lagoon, I left feeling that the Blue Lagoon simply didn’t justify its high price tag. While it’s the most famous of the three, it ended up being my least favorite—and not for lack of comparison. To start, both the Sky Lagoon and Secret Lagoon were significantly more affordable, yet offered nearly the same level of amenities. All three locations provided free showers, changing rooms, and lockers, and both the Blue Lagoon and Sky Lagoon included free towels, with the Secret Lagoon being the only one that didn’t. What surprised me most was that the water at the Blue Lagoon wasn’t as hot as at the other two sites, which made the experience feel less relaxing despite the higher cost. The iconic blue water is really the only unique feature of the Blue Lagoon, but even that came with a downside: the milky color made it hard to see underwater, so I kept bumping my legs against the seats because they were nearly invisible. In contrast, the Secret Lagoon’s natural hot spring setting, with its large black pebbles, felt soothing underfoot, and I actually preferred that to the smooth rock bottoms of both the Sky Lagoon and Blue Lagoon. As for amenities, the Sky Lagoon easily outshone the Blue Lagoon. Both offered saunas and steam rooms, but the Sky Lagoon’s infinity pool and the included seven-step ritual made the experience feel far more special and immersive. At the Blue Lagoon, all you get is a single silica mask included in the basic admission, which felt underwhelming given the price. The only feature that stood out at the Blue Lagoon was the bathing suit–drying machine—convenient, yes, but certainly not worth the extra cost on its own. Accessibility was another major drawback. The Blue Lagoon required a long walk to reach the actual pool area, which isn’t ideal for anyone with mobility issues. In comparison, both the Sky Lagoon and Secret Lagoon were located just a short, easy walk from their entrances—within about 20 feet. While all three lagoons had seating in the water and offered basic toiletries like shampoo, conditioner, and soap, the overall value just wasn’t there for the Blue Lagoon. In the end, its fame and blue water felt like its only real distinguishing features, and for the price, I expected a lot more.

A must visit , think of as the worlds largest hot tub also the most expensive It’s A must do once but for $120 for a basic entry I won’t go again , it’s a shame they gouge tourist so much to visit here. We stayed about two hours so it was pretty expensive , it’s also a 35 bus ride from the airport, their app is not user friendly , I ended up buying 3 passes when I only needed 2, I called , no answer , asked tge driver for a refund , no luck, emailed them , no response so I lost another 35 dollars It’s also another $30 to get a ride from there to Reykjavík So if going there from the airport , and then to the hotel and buy say one snack while there , you are at over $200 per person

Amazing place! Arrived early to miss the crowds. Beautiful drive over and easy to find. Stunning landscape. We did the Signature ticket where you got a robe, face mask regime and two drinks on the wristband. Quite a queue for the bar but not too long to wait. Could maybe do with more cold water taps and mirrors to rinse, it was getting busy when we were there and I imagine it gets a lot busier through the day. Really is a lovely experience, nothing quite like it. There is a quiet place at the back where it is more zen. Plenty of space to relax in and lovely little coves. Amazing experience, we were celebrating a special birthday and it was truly a gorgeous treat! Shower facilities nice and clean. We tied long hair up with lots of conditioner and it was fine.

WOW! My best friend and I took a ten day trip to explore southern Iceland and this was one of the first stops we made during our trip. After an unnecessary layover in detroit (which my friend’s bag was misplaced and we had to pick up from Keflavík airport the next day..) and a five hour flight, this was the best way to relax and enjoy some self-care after rearranging the first two days of our trip. We arrived and we were welcomed with detailed instructions on how to go about the facilities and the wristbands, which is how you purchase masks/drinks and pay at the end using the wristband. The facilities were superb, so clean and it was refreshing to see such a busy place be so well maintained and managed. We purchased the premium package which included three face masks and two drinks and it was AMAZING. ALL of the products located within and out of the lagoon were spectacular, and I even purchased a bottle of lotion from their on-site store. The history makes this entire experience so lovely, and it was a very large open lagoon for many to enjoy and explore. Overall, we arrived for a 2PM reservation and although it was relatively crowded, it was perfect for the size of this location AND the experience. If you do not enjoy crowded spaces, it might be best to go a bit earlier or another day in the week from what I assume. I would recommend this place a billion times over, whether it’s your first or last stop on your self care journey in Iceland! 🇮🇸❤️
